Faith is not something to grasp, it is a state to grow into. ~Mahatma Gandhi

Just like meditating in happy times strengthens us for meditating in challenging times,  having faith is reliant on every day practice.  Building faith has to be rooted in actions. For me mindful living has over time strengthened my faith in life.  I am aware that an act of kindness, is simple yet powerful.  The lasting ripple effect of a kind act can be felt years later.  An act of compassion, love, patience, courage and other such attributes are equally powerful that keep faith alive.

Our Faith must be alive

It cannot be just a set of rigid beliefs and  notions

Our Faith must evolve every day and bring us

Joy, peace, freedom and love

                                                ~Thich Nhat Hahn
