Being present

Out of clutter find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. – Albert Einstein

A window of opportunity exists in all difficult challenges. Opportunity for kindness, compassion, clarity, finding purpose, rest gratitude and anything else that you are wanting and needing.

I believe what matters is that in difficult circumstances we stay present to ourselves, and not numb ourselves, because the pain is overwhelming, the fears are real and looming, and the anxiety is palpable.

By staying present, I mean to first Allow your breath to soften the resistance. Allow your breath To nourish your cells and regulate emotions. Allow your breath in this moment to be an anchor to your calm, your kindness, your strength, your resilience, your life.

Healthy solutions don’t come to us when the thoughts are churning up fear and anxiety. Instead healthy and long lasting solutions arise from a calm place that’s being nourished regularly.
